definitely not for kids.
better than the first Saw, and a little more bloody. If you're in the mood for a thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat, this is worth a try.

unlike the other regular horrors and thrillers, Saw is not the usual killer-chasing-victim story. Jigsaw, the antagonist, actually wanted his victims to survive his game and live; his game which was a test for the victims' survival instincts.

psychologically terrifying, but it isn't the violence that makes it frightening. what makes it unforgettable is the idea, the cinematography, the plot. and it's not a good way of making you realize that you should be content with your life.

like the first Saw, there was a big twist at the end of this movie... be prepared to be surprised.

you won't be disappointed with this suspense-thriller. if you like watching suspense or horror, you have to see this.

the story begins when a group of college friends had to stop over in a strangely silent and creepy town and spend the night there. this is where they met a weirdo and found a house full of wax figures that seemed to be more real than they looked. (you have to know why they looked so realistic, to think that they were "just" wax figures.)

the murder scenes are creative and the tortures are horrible. it has interesting story but not too deep so you'll get it without having to ponder everything.

i'm also impressed with the sceenplay of this film. the story isn't rushed, but you won't get bored while getting to the climax. they did a good job at keeping you entertained.

it may have some dramatic points, when you think of the fates of the victims and the tortures they experienced. you might even have pity for Wade, one the main characters who suffered the same fatality.
